Why Narayan Bali Performed
It is believed that after an unnatural death, soul wander aimlessly in Ghost Land (Pret-Yoni) with pain and suffering, so to bring back our beloved ones from Ghost Land (Pret-Yoni) to Ancestors Land (Pitra-Yoni), this ritual must be performed. If it is not done properly, whatever we do like Pind-Daan, Shraddha, Tarpan etc. the benefit will not reach to our ancestors and goes in vain.

Time to Perform Narayan Bali
It should be performed at 11th day of the death. But if it is not performed on the said date, please call Kashi moksha we will give you a proper tithi (date) as per the death date. It takes about 4+ hours’ time for this Puja and three to five priests are required to perform this puja properly.

Place of Narayan Bali Puja:
This puja can not be performed at home, It is advised to perform it at Kashi, Gaya or Trimbakeshwar Tirth. At Kashi there is a special place to perform this kind of Puja it is called Pichas Mochan Kund.
