What is Asthi Visarjan?
Asthi means ashes of the deceased person, and Visarjan means Immersion. Asthi Visarjan is called “Ashes Immersion” in English. In Telegu, it is called Asthi Nimajjanam. Asthi Visarjan is a process in which a family member of a deceased person collects some ashes from the funeral pyre of the deceased person and puts them into a pot later on it is Immerse into the holy river Ganges at Tirth like Kashi.

Ideal Time or day for Asthi Visarjan
It can be performed any time and day of the year but it is recommended to Immerse Ashes within a year from the Swarg-Gaman day.
Online Asthi Visarjan or Asthi Visarjan by Post
If Family members of the family are far from the Tirth places may be out of the country or they are unable to visit due to some reason, can send Asthi ( Ashes ) by post to Kashi moksha. We have arrangements, and learned priests at each Tirth place. We do proper Asthi Pujan and further Immerse it in the holy Ganga. Pujan is done on behalf of a family member and family members can connect through live video streaming on Whatsapp or any video streaming App. Pictures and Images are also sent by mail or WhatsApp after the completion of the ritual.
Asthi Visarjan Process
After Receiving Asthi we do a small Asthi Pujan at Ganga Ghat. It is performed by the priest, The family member if not there will be called on the phone for Sankalp, further Ashes with the puja stuff are Immersed in the holy river. If the devotee is available at the place he/she can go to mid-river by boat and Immerse Ashes, we arrange boats on request.
